I'm Mona, owner of Mount Tabor Pet Care. I've been pet sitting professionally since September of 2013. Prior to opening my pet sitting business, I worked in a vet clinic and determined it wasn't the right environment for me. I wanted to work with animals, but a trip to the vet can be stressful for pets, and I wanted to work with them in a way that felt positive and fun.
When I started my business, I was delighted to find that business ownership felt very natural to me, and gave me a sense of pride in myself and my skills in a way that working for other companies never did. I feel gratified when clients tell me how relieved they are to have someone they can trust and rely on to take care of their homes and pets while they're away.
I feel very fortunate to have created a business that allows me to do something I truly enjoy: helping neighbors, building community, and working with people and animals in a way that feels personal and meaningful. I love meeting new clients, and I've had the pleasure to work with wonderful people and animals along the way. After six years of pet sitting, I still love it and am grateful for all the joy and blessings it has brought to my life.
